London (go4ukloans) June 19, 2007: According to a new study by National
Savings & Investments (NS&I) , many Britons are suffering from debt
problems as they are not financially planning themselves well. According
to the NS&I poll, a third of the British populace were hoping for a
big increase in earnings, or gain from inheritance. Loan borrowers are not
looking at the affordability of the loan these days and are finding themselves
overextended.
Says Dax Harkins from NS&I: “It’s a real concern that such
a high percentage of people haven’t made a financial plan for their
future, and even more worrying that a significant number are basing their
financial security on their future earnings potential.”
Harkins
warned that there is no guarantee that people will be earning more as they
get older. Borrowers who are facing a financial crisis through debts and
unpaid outstanding amounts can bring the same under control through a debt
consolidation loan. That will put them more in control of their finances.
